Church of the Suffrage
Nestled beside the hanging garden of Palazzo Di Monte, this church stands out for its sober elegance: a simple stone façade with a portal and a barely visible decorative lunette, topped by a small bell gable.
The current building resulted from the union of two ancient churches: the Church of the Holy Trinity, built at the end of the 16th century, and the Church of the Holy Suffrage, erected in 1635 as the seat of a lay confraternity.
Inside, the rectangular plan with groin vaults and two late-Baroque altars preserves a valuable cycle of frescoes painted by Luigi Ademollo in 1821. An intimate and evocative place where art and spirituality blend harmoniously.
