Verniana

Formerly known as Verinianum, and also called Villa Verniana, was a possession of the counts of Scialenga, powerful feudal lords of the territory of Siena.

It was then part of the community of Gargonza, following the events of Monte San Savino since the annexation to Florence in 1383.

It then became the lordship of the Raspanti family, until it became a farming village.
